We're currently looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join one of Australia's most successful and innovative organisations, to lead a highly technical team across a broad technology stack. This role bridges Software Engineering, DevOps, and DevSecOps - helping teams build faster, safer, and smarter, and requires someone with an extensive technical background with the passion for leadership. 

Working across a broad scope, you will drive the uplift of engineering practices and enablement standards across the business, ensuring consistency and excellence at scale.

This position is a newly created role, and would suit someone from a Principal Engineering background, with leadership / management skills. 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and standardise frameworks, pipelines, and engineering templates across multiple platforms.
  • Champion modern engineering practices—microservices, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, security-by-design.
  • Partner closely with delivery and operations teams to ensure alignment between software development and platform engineering.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams, maintaining credibility in both software engineeringand DevOps domains.
  • Influence architecture and governance standards to balance innovation, scalability, and compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering, architecture, and business units.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience in:

  • .NET / Azure environments, with exposure to / GCP ecosystems.
  • Proven track record in DevOps / DevSecOps enablement and platform standardisation.
  • Leading cross-functional teams and influencing at the enterprise level.
  • Microservices architecture, continuous delivery, and automated testing.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passionate about empowering teams and improving engineering culture.
