About the role
Skyline Kitchen Pty ltd, a leading kitchen/joinery manufacturer in the Dandenong Vic, is seeking a qualified Cabinet Maker or 4th year Apprentice to join us. A fulltime role, you will be responsible for the skilled craftsmanship and assembly of custom cabinetry to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
Cutting, edging and preparing joinery.
Assembling joionery
Uitilising woodworking tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components
Ensuring finished products meet strict quality and safety requirements
Collaborating with the team to optimise designs for efficient manufacture
Mentoring and training junior team members in cabinet making techniques
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in Cabinet Making or 4th year Apprenticeship
- Demonstrated experience in the manufacture of high-quality custom cabinetry
- Strong woodworking skills and proficiency in the use of power tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless work
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Australian permanent residency status is required for this position
