About Us:

Perennial Kitchens / The Kitchen Design Centre is a locally owned and operated manufacturing company with 3 showrooms based across Melbourne. We have been operating for over 33 years from our factory in Bayswater and The Kitchen Design Centre x 3 showrooms in Blackburn, Eltham and Essendon, we specialize in custom made, high quality cabinetry, and pride ourselves with providing exceptional service and value to our clients.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the construction and assembly of cabinets and furniture pieces, perform various labouring tasks, and work collaboratively with our team of tradespeople, both in our factory and onsite. Previous experience in cabinet making or a related trade is essential and a truck license is a plus. If you have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the construction and assembly of cabinetry

  • Perform various labouring tasks, including sanding, drilling, and material handling

  • Work collaboratively with our team of cabinet makers and tradespeople

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

  • Operate hand tools and machinery (training provided)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cabinet making or a related trade

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Truck license (favourable but not essential)
