About the Role
As a senior planner / scheduler, you will oversee the development, implementation, management and maintenance of project schedules across various industries. You will have opportunities to work with various stakeholders on exciting projects that may require you to work remotely (from home) and on-site to track project progression in real-time.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain up to date management of project schedules
- Preparation, monitoring and updating of the project schedules during development phase and onward throughout the project life-cycle through to project completion
- Participate in internal, external and contract discussions regarding activity, scheduling and prioritisation
- Production of weekly internal and external reports including S-curves, man-hours, milestone tables, critical path analysis
- Develop relationships across the project to facilitate efficient maintenance and tracking of the schedule
- Develop project reporting content for coordination and monthly progress meetings in accordance with contractual obligations
- Develop a "look ahead" for effective planning of works
- Produce updates of master schedules for the project
- Attend coordination meetings to actively update and drive the critical path
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Remote work with potential for travel to onsite work
About You
We're looking for a self-driven individual to be part of our dynamic, high performing scheduling team.
- Hands-on project experience in multiple industries
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A motivated individual who is eager to continue learning and growing in project scheduling
- Technically proficient with demonstrable experience delivering outcomes on software applications, including Oracle Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Ability to prepare program deliverables from tender, award and execution stages
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise work, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, and set and meet deadlines
- Australian/New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident and based in Australia
- Minimum 2 years Project Scheduling experience
- Understanding of Critical Path Methodology (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), PMBOK, PRINCE2 and risk analysis
