Located in Ipswich in South East Queensland, the JBS Dinmore Plant is the largest beef processing facility in the southern hemisphere. The plant employs approximately 2,000 team members with a processing capacity of 3,400 head of cattle per day.

About the Role

JBS Dinmore has an opportunity available for a PCP (Production Control & Planning) Recoveries Officer to join our team. The successful applicant for the position will be highly motivated, experienced and drive a reduction in costs by producing orders on time in line with customer specifications and loading requirements, through consistent yield reporting and feedback to the Dinmore team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and analysing yield performance against targets as well as identifying and addressing variances
  • Generating and distributing reports, charts and data insights to support decision-making
  • Engaging with teams to improve practices impacting yield and recovery
  • Maintaining quality standards while driving yield optimisation
  • Providing feedback and coaching to staff on recovery techniques
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and SOP adherence
  • Communicating results clearly to stakeholders and participate in yield reviews

About You

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills specifically within MS Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Energetic, proactive self-starter, driven attitude
  • Valid car license
  • Previous experience within the meat industry highly regarded
  • Ausmeat Accreditation or the ability to obtain
