O'Neills Sportswear, with over 100 years of experience, is a market leader in teamwear apparel across a wide range of sports and is rapidly expanding its operations within the Australian market.  As apparel partner of Professional Sports Teams such as the Adelaide Crows in the AFL, Penrith Panthers, Melbourne Storm and Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL, ACT Brumbies in Super Rugby, and Hockey Australia, this is a great opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic team in an exciting and innovative industry. We are currently seeking a Digital & Social Media Manager based in our Milsons Point (NSW) office.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working closing with the senior management team. You'll shape and execute our digital and social strategy, with a focus on driving engagement, visibility and brand growth across all online channels.

You'll lead the charge in elevating O'Neills social media presence, guiding our creative direction while liaising and collaborating with our professional club partners and ensuring every piece of content aligns with our brand identity and showcases the quality of our garments.

About you:

  • Strong knowledge of sports – from AFL to NRL and everything in between.
  • You have experience creating content that performs well on social platforms.
  • An eye for what's trending in sport and online culture.
  • A positive attitude and understanding of collaborative team work.
  • Confidence in editing video and static formats using Adobe Suite or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities.

Content Creation & Coordination

  • Conceptualise, create, edit engaging written, visual, and video content for digital and social platforms.
  • Coordinate content calendars and ensure timely publishing.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality creative assets.
  • Liaise with our professional club partners to leverage assets, manage product launches and collaborate on projects which highlight not only the garments themselves but our connection with the club and community in which it exists.

Social Media Management

  • Manage and schedule content, both reactive and planned, across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X).
  • Engage with online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Support the development of social media campaigns aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with our UK based ecommerce team to ensure our website is optimised to the local market, translating into growth and sustainability in our online retail efforts
  • Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, paid media, and SEO activities.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on social media and digital performance metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
  • Track competitor activity and industry trends to inform strategy.
