Healthcare Australia (HCA) is a major provider of healthcare services across Australia, including allied health, primary care, recruitment, NDIS, care services, and training.

In December 2024, we commenced providing health, mental health and wellbeing services across the onshore Immigration Detention network.  Our team, which includes nurses, general practitioners, and allied health professionals, offer a wide range of healthcare services to detainees, such as triaging, medication, wound management, immunisation, and other clinical procedures.  HCA also introduced a Virtual Care Centre (VCC), a 24/7 service that provides remote healthcare through telehealth and video consultations, helping to enhance onsite care for detainees.

We're looking for a Cyber Security Program Manager to join our leadership team and oversee the delivery of critical cybersecurity initiatives that align with ISO 27001, risk-based frameworks (D/PSPF, D/ISM, E8), and evolving business needs.

This is a strategic, non-technical leadership role—perfect for someone with deep security program knowledge and strong stakeholder and project management skills.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver a cybersecurity program aligned with business goals and compliance standards
  • Act as the central point of contact for all cybersecurity activities and projects
  • Manage internal teams and vendors to deliver secure, scalable outcomes
  • Coordinate audits, risk registers, incident response, and security awareness
  • Track budgets, resources, timelines, and outcomes across all security initiatives
  • Partner with IT and business teams to embed security across operations and projects

What You Bring

  • 5+ years in IT or cybersecurity program management
  • Deep understanding of ISO 27001, D/PSPF, D/ISM, and E8
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
  • Experience managing vendors and multi-stream project delivery
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, M365, Salesforce)
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, PMP/PRINCE2) preferred
