Role Overview:

We are seeking a Landscape Construction Manager to join our growing team. This key leadership role involves overseeing projects, developing systems, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating & Quoting:

  • Measure onsite, calculate material quantities, and source materials.
  • Manage supplier orders via email and phone.
  • Read and interpret plans for accurate material and labor requirements.

Design & Drafting:

  • Design in AutoCAD, including layers, viewports, annotations, and dimensions.
  • Measure and draft new garden designs and modify existing plans.

Supervising & Project Management:

  • Oversee projects onsite, ensuring work aligns with plans and timelines.
  • Make critical decisions regarding project direction and act as a leader, motivating and guiding the team.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, such as earthmovers, concrete specialists, and painters, to complete build components.

Training & Development:

  • Provide on- and offsite training to employees in garden construction techniques and procedures.
  • Support apprentices' development in collaboration with the existing training organisation.

  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Proficent in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field.
  • Passion for creating outdoor spaces and working collaboratively with a motivated team.
