About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional team at Medscan. We are looking for candidates to work across within our Barangaroo practice. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time hours, this role will allow you to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in delivering exceptional service. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic clinical setting.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing outstanding service both on the phone and in person when greeting patients.
  • Managing patient bookings efficiently and ensuring smooth patient flow.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with patients, referrers, and clinical staff.
  • Supporting the clinical team with general administrative tasks as required.

Experience with medical terminology and Karisma software is an advantage, but not essential.
