Lead the Way with Fleurieu Civil

Are you an experienced and motivated Traffic Controller looking to take the next step into leadership? Fleurieu Civil, a dynamic and growing regional civil contractor, is looking for a Traffic Control Coordinator to head up our traffic management division.

This is you chance to take ownership of our traffic team, implement best practice, drive compliance, and play a key role in delivering safe and efficient work zones across Fleurieu Peninsula and beyond.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead, coordinate and schedule our team of traffic controllers across multiple civil construction projects
  • Ensure all traffic management plans are implemented safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and client requirements
  • Liaise with internal project managers, clients and councils to deliver effective solutions
  • Oversee compliance, documentation and equipment standards
  • Mentor and develop your team to uphold a high-performance culture
  • Conduct site inspections, audits and incident investigations as required
  • Manage traffic related permits and TMP submissions
  • Ensure clear communication and reporting across all traffic operations

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Traffic Controller or Traffic Supervisor in civil construction
  • Current Traffic management tickets (Workzone Traffic Management or equivalent)
  • Sound knowledge of traffic management legislation and best practices
  • Strong leadership, scheduling and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Valid drivers license (MR or HR desirable)
  • White Card and First Aid Preferred
  • Flexibility to work locally and regionally (away from home) as required
