Job Title:

Raymond Island Ferry Operator


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the ferry in a safe and reliable manner, monitoring vehicles and patrons at all times.
  • Maintain the ferry's cleanliness and ensure it is free from hazards on a daily basis.
  • Process fares and verify ferry passes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons while effectively managing conflicts when necessary.

This is a casual position requiring experience commanding a vessel, maintaining equipment, and delivering outstanding customer service skills.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A Victorian recreational marine license with Coxswain Grade 3 endorsement.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009).
  • A valid Victorian driver's licence.
  • Candidates with experience in traffic control, marine engineering, and McMillan Strait expertise will be favourably considered.
Requirements:
  • Police check and pre-employment medical.
  • Licence to work in Australia.
