Assistant Functions & Events Manager

With a brand-new 140-room Novotel hotel and a revitalised conference & events centre launching, this is your chance to be part of a bold new era in hospitality. You will help deliver seamless, memorable events, from intimate celebrations to large-scale conferences while supporting the Functions & Events Manager in setting a new benchmark for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of functions and events
• Build strong client and vendor relationships
• Oversee logistics, staffing, and smooth event operations
• Support sales through proposals, contracts, and upselling opportunities
• Lead and mentor event staff to deliver standout experiences

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event or hospitality management (with supervisory exposure)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience with iVvy or Delphi (highly regarded)
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple events at once
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
