About The Role
Join our multidisciplinary Tamworth Integrated Pain Service and make a real impact in chronic pain management. In this rewarding role, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy to patients and families, incorporating both individual and group programs. You'll collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to create holistic management plans that address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of pain.

Alongside clinical care, you'll advocate for patients, mentor physiotherapy students, and contribute to research and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery. Your professional expertise, critical thinking, and commitment to evidence-based practice will ensure exceptional outcomes for patients transitioning between hospital and community care.

We're looking for a collaborative, self-motivated clinician with excellent communication skills, a passion for multidisciplinary teamwork, and a commitment to cultural respect and safety.

About You
You're a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist with a collaborative approach and a passion for improving the lives of people living with chronic pain. You thrive in a multidisciplinary setting, can confidently manage complex caseloads, and have strong problem-solving and communication skills. You bring a commitment to ongoing learning, cultural respect, and the ability to support and mentor students or junior staff.

Requirements

  • An approved tertiary qualification: Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA/Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Current unencumbered driver's licence.

  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
