About the role

Looking for a role where your physiotherapy skills can truly change lives? Join our multidisciplinary team at the Tamworth Integrated Pain Service and play a vital part in helping people living with chronic pain reclaim their wellbeing.

In this rewarding position, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy through both individual and group programs. Working hand-in-hand with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues, you'll design holistic care plans that support not only the physical, but also the emotional and social needs of patients and their families.

Your impact won't stop at the bedside - you'll also advocate for patients, mentor physiotherapy students, and contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives that shape the future of pain management.

About you

We're seeking a physiotherapist who is not only clinically skilled, but also compassionate, collaborative, and driven to make a difference. You're experienced, empathetic and passionate about improving outcomes for people living with chronic pain. You're confident managing complex caseloads, bring strong problem-solving and communication skills, and are committed to lifelong learning and cultural respect. If you enjoy mentoring others and want to be part of an innovative, supportive team - this is the role for you.

Requirements:

  • An approved tertiary qualification: Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA/Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Current unencumbered driver's licence.

Additional Information:

  • To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
