About the role

Redland City Medical Centre is seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Nurse/Practice manager to join our dynamic healthcare team in Cleveland, QLD. This part-time role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our medical practice, while delivering exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, including staff management, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Providing nursing support and clinical assistance to our team of general practitioners
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards
  • Implementing and maintaining effective administrative and clinical systems
  • Liaising with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to foster positive working relationships
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the patient experience and practice efficiency

What we're looking for

  • A registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar practice management or nursing role( The candidate without nursing degree can also apply this position)
  • Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service
  • Proficient in the use of medical practice management software and electronic medical records
  • A deep understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and industry best practices
  • A collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous improvement
