About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, and assessment of education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues within Queensland Telestroke Service.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
  • Provide leadership within a legal, professional, and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
  • Integrate the principles of contemporary education into nursing practice.
  • Integrate nursing and health care knowledge, skills, and ability by supporting an evidence-based learning environment and participating in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
