About the opportunity:

We're seeking a Cloud Administrator to join a small team of 3 in a hands-on role covering escalation support, Azure operations, and security response. Acting as the bridge between the service desk and senior engineering staff, you'll manage Tier 2/3 escalations, respond to security alerts, and contribute to IT BAU projects.

You'll gain exposure across a broad set of Azure platforms & tools including Sentinel, Defender, and Tenable, as well as opportunities to develop automation skills within Azure DevOps using Power Automate and bicep templates.

About You:

You will bring;

  • Proven experience in a SaaS based environment with Azure administration and support.
  • Capability in handling both Tier 2/3 escalations from the service desk and project delivery.
  • Experience responding to security alerts via Microsoft Defender, Azure Monitor, or Tenable.
  • Hands-on experience managing Entra ID (Azure AD) to support identity and access management (SSL certificates, SSO).
  • Ability to develop and maintain processes for managing Azure Application Registration certificates and secrets to ensure continuity and compliance.
  • Interest in cyber security with aspirations to develop deeper security expertise.
  • A proactive approach to learning, ideally demonstrated by self-funded certifications or training.

This role would suit a junior engineer with strong potential to step up or a proven Cloud Administrator looking to own more in a cloud-focused role.
