About the Role

Barbagallo are seeking an experienced and highly organised Pre-Delivery Coordinator to oversee and manage the workflow of our pre-delivery department in Cannington.

You will be responsible for ensuring all new vehicles are prepared to the highest standard before delivery to our customers. You will lead a small team of technicians, prioritise workloads, and maintain efficiency while upholding quality and safety standards. This role includes a proactive requirement requiring you to engage in preparing vehicles for delivery, and coordinate with delivery drivers, tinting departments and detailing contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Pre-Delivery Workshop.
  • Allocate work to technicians and ensure timely completion of vehicle pre-delivery preparations, accessory installations, and quality checks.
  • Conduct inspections and check-ins of Pre Delivery vehicles.
  • Ensure all vehicles meet manufacturer, dealership, and customer expectations before handover.
  • Monitor workshop efficiency, productivity, and adherence to deadlines.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to manage vehicle scheduling and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of PDI work, repairs, and accessory installations.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations within the workshop.
  • Provide support and guidance to technicians when required.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workshop efficiency.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a service coordinator role (preferably in a pre-delivery or automotive service environment).
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle preparation, diagnostics, and accessory installation.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with technicians, sales teams, and customers.
  • Understanding of warranty procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
  • ERA Power experience preferred but not essential
  • A trade qualification in Automotive Technology (Cert III or equivalent) is preferred.
  • A WA valid driver's licence.
