Join our Federal Government client, supporting veterans and their families across Australia. As an APS6 Clinician, you'll provide phone-based mental health services including intake, assessment, brief counselling, and referrals.
You'll work in a supportive, values-driven team helping clients access the care they need, while enjoying flexibility and ongoing professional development.
The RoleProvide intake, risk assessment, and brief counselling via phone (7am–7pm roster).
Deliver immediate support to clients in crisis and refer to regional or specialist services.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the Client Management System.
Participate in supervision, training, and team collaboration.
You're a compassionate, qualified mental health professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment. You bring:
Experience in mental health intake, assessment, and brief intervention.
Strong risk management and crisis support skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork.
Confidence using IT systems.
Australian Citizen.
Current AHPRA, AASW, PACFA (Clinical), or ACA Level 3/4 registration.
Able to obtain a Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check and Baseline Security Clearance
