Role Description

This is a contract-based remote role for an Electrical, Renewable Engineer - Summer Intern. The intern will assist with designing, analyzing, and optimizing electrical systems, developing solutions for power distribution and renewable energy projects. Day-to-day tasks may include performing calculations, contributing to the design of electrical layouts, and collaborating with team members on renewable energy initiatives. The candidate will also document processes, conduct research, and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Electrical Design and foundational knowledge of Electricity principles
  • Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts and their application to real-world systems
  • Knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic experience with renewable energy technologies is a plus
  • Proficiency in using engineering software tools is desirable
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting
