*The Opportunity*
We're seeking a Chemist to join our Technology team at our Deer Park site. In this hands-on laboratory role, you'll provide high-quality technical support to our ANZ operations, develop new products, and drive continuous improvement for our customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, technical skilled professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys translating laboratory insights into real-world performance improvements.

What You'll Do

• Design, conduct, and interpret laboratory experiments to support new production development and improve existing formulations
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and Commercial teams to optimise product performance and consistency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during process scale-up and production activities
• Contribute to innovation and sustainability initiatives that reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of EHS compliance, laboratory housekeeping, and documentation
• Build technical knowledge across resin chemistries, materials science, and wood applications
• Periodically travel across ANZ to support customer trials and collaborative projects.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess The Following Attributes

• A tertiary qualification (preferably postgraduate) in Chemistry or related scientific field
• Proven experience working in a chemical manufacturing or laboratory environment
• Strong technical background in polymer chemistry, materials science, or wood chemistry (preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a regional team.
• A proactive, safety-focused mindset and a passion for innovation
