SUMMARY
A great opportunity for a Property Lawyer with 4+ years of experience to join an in-house legal team in Sydney on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working arrangements. As part of the in-house property team, this role involves front-end property transactional work, including commercial leasing and negotiations with major counterparties.

THE ROLE
You will provide legal support for property transactions, focusing on front-end negotiations across a range of property related work, including commercial leasing and access agreements. This role is based in Sydney and employs a hybrid model with three office days per week.
- Review, draft and negotiate property leases and agreements for new sites and developments.
- Engage with landlords and landowners to facilitate property acquisitions and access arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external parties.
- Manage high-volume leasing transactions, ensuring each deal meets the organisation's specific site requirements.
- Work with the in-house property team and external law firms to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
You are a qualified Lawyer with 4+ years post-qualification legal experience, ideally specialising in front-end property transactions. You excel at negotiating and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including large counterparties and government entities.
- 4+ years' post-qualification experience in property law, with a focus on commercial leasing
- Experience negotiating leases, acquisitions and access for new builds
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage various personalities
- Comfortable working with large counterparties and government departments
- Ability to manage high-volume of matters, including leasing and other tenure work
ON OFFER
- Competitive remuneration package up to $140K p.a. inc. super depending on experience, plus potential for a 10% bonus based on performance.
- Permanent and full-time position with hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office.
