Job Description

As Senior Manager, Operational Planning, you will lead a critical function that supports and drives operational performance across all QantasLink AOCs. This role ensures a coordinated and strategic approach to current operations, future planning, and long-term improvement connecting what we're doing now with where we're heading. With a strong focus on both strategy and execution, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering initiatives that enhance readiness, performance, and alignment with business priorities.
You will oversee the integration of performance insights, forward planning, and the delivery of key operational initiatives. This includes transforming data into meaningful reporting, anticipating seasonal and operational shifts, and leading programs that drive measurable outcomes. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the Group, you will provide strategic advice and influence direction to support QantasLink's continued success.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong strategic and operational acumen with the ability to balance multiple considerations
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive clear vision and purpose
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and driving performance
- Demonstrated success in leading change and continuous improvement in fast-paced settings.
- In-depth understanding of aviation or operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and influence outcomes
- Strong collaboration skills, with a focus on building trust and positive working relationships
- Experience delivering commercial results, with the ability to strategically balance competing priorities to support long-term business outcomes
