About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic and creative Events & Marketing Officer to lead the planning and delivery of engaging events and advocacy initiatives-including our flagship All Abilities Expo in Darwin and Katherine. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on community connection, storytelling, and strategic execution.

You'll be responsible for:

·Coordinating workshops, forums, expos, and fundraising events

·Developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms

·Building relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and community organisations

·Supporting advocacy efforts and amplifying the voices of people with disability

·Managing social media, website updates, and promotional content

·Ensuring compliance and preparing monthly reports

What You'll Bring

Essential:

·Proven experience in event coordination and community engagement

·Strong understanding of disability advocacy and inclusive practices

·Excellent communication and organisational skills

·Proficiency in Canva, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office

·Ability to manage budgets and negotiate with suppliers.

·Experience in stakeholder reporting and content creation

Desirable:

·Lived or professional experience with disability

·Knowledge of the NDIS and advocacy environments

·Familiarity with digital marketing tools and client databases

Requirements:

·NT Working with Children Check (Ochre Card)

·National Criminal History Check

·NT Driver's License

·COVID-19 vaccination evidence
