Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking an experienced Pastoral Care Coordinator Junior School to take on this full-time permanent teaching position, with a fixed term Position of Added Responsibility (PAR – CL1), commencing 1 January 2026.

Redeemer is a co-educational Christian school owned and operated by the Lutheran Church of Australia, Queensland District. As a school of the church, it holds that its fundamental role is to offer its students a sound and integrated education within the Christian tradition. Redeemer's motto is: Our Hope is in Christ.

The College is situated in Rochedale on Brisbane's south side, about 20km from the CBD, about 55km from the Gold Coast, and is easily accessible by the Pacific Highway and the Gateway Motorway.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrate strong Leadership
  • Demonstrate excellence in pastoral and restorative practices and associated programs
  • Have a strong working knowledge in areas of pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and the use of ICT's.
  • Work cooperatively with teachers, parents and other members of the Redeemer community
  • Provide excellent pastoral care to students
  • Be registered to teach in Queensland

  • SC.2 Demonstrated understanding and use of Restorative Practices in student/staff welfare and behaviour management contexts.
  • SC.3 Capacity to support teaching teams;
  • SC 4 Evidence of a personal commitment to continuous self-evaluation and lifelong learning.
  • SC.5 Willingness to support the Christian Ethos of the College.
