The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Compliance Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is vital in supporting our services to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the organisation.
As the Compliance Manager, you will work closely with Educational Leaders, and Nominated Supervisors to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, perform centre audits, and promote continuous improvement. This role may require travel to services across NSW and VIC.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Regulation
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to early childhood education services.
- Support centres through regulatory processes, assessments, and audits, ensuring ongoing compliance with national laws and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Nominated Supervisors to monitor staff qualifications, safety certifications, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of emergency procedures, risk assessments, and safety protocols across services.
Operational Support
- Provide operational guidance and support to ensure the efficient functioning of services.
- Assist with budgeting, resource management, and operational planning, ensuring resources are used effectively.
- Monitor the overall presentation and environment of centres to ensure they meet organisational standards.
Educational Quality Support
- Support Educational Leaders to maintain the delivery of high-quality educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and national standards.
- Ensure that centre environments and teaching practices promote positive learning outcomes for children.
- Assist with professional development initiatives to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
Policies & Procedures
- Assist with the reviewing, updating, and implementing organisational policies and procedures to ensure consistent application across all services.
- Work with centre leadership to ensure policies are followed and support continuous improvement efforts in operational practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A childcare qualification (minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care)
- Strong knowledge of the National Law, National Regulations, EYLF, and relevant Quality Standards
- Experience in compliance, operational management, or multi-site coordination within the early childhood sector
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with Nominated Supervisors and Educational Leaders to support compliance and quality improvement
- Experience in performing audits and assessments to monitor operational standards
- A proactive, professional approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to travel to services across NSW and VIC as required
