The typical project scope includes investigations, management of - Design Drafting & Engineering, Quality control, Safety methodologies and the implementation of quality control systems.

About the Role

A Construction Project Manager is responsible for understanding the project deliverables and creating timelines for different individuals and groups involved in the project to make sure the project remains on track. The successful candidate will be joining a leading façade contractor, specialising in Aluminium cladding and glass with multiple projects running concurrently for tier 1 & 2 Builders across Sydney, Canberra, and Adelaide, along with ample opportunities to progress your career in construction management.

Pay $90,000 - $130,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Engineers and Supervisors in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the project. They also ensure that the project is completed within the set budget and is within the scope.
  • Creates a comprehensive project plan by outlining the work to be done, getting the necessary personnel, and assigning the right duties to the right people.
  • Coordinating tasks by different people on different sites to ensure uniformity upon project completion.
  • Creates and manages project timeline, ensuring timely completion of the project to build client trust while avoiding unnecessary penalties
  • Manage project budget by adequately estimating the costs and cutting unnecessary expenses making sure that project stays within the budget.
  • Identifies and mitigates potential internal and external risks within the project's lifetime.
  • Ensure that all work meets quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Has over 6 years exp in the Facade industry as a project manager
  • Great attitude towards problem solving and work in a Team.
  • Excellent Communicator
  • Available for interview right away.
  • Preferably brings a network of suppliers and contractors.
  • Can adapt easily to new systems and processes.
