Company Description

The Here for Good Foundation Incorporated leads social change by supporting change exposed to family and domestic violence, thereby breaking the cyclical nature of such this social problem. The organisation promotes equal treatment and opportunities for men, women, and children and celebrating diversity as an instrument to push forward change.

We will be running a series of 6 community education programs to support Men and help with emotional skill development and support and encouraging them to be a part of the generational change we all want to see.

Your role will be to be the central point of contact and roll out the project, ensure it is a success and allow the charity to grow.

Role Description

This is a paid short term part time role for a Project Support Coordinator and based on grant funding.

The Project Support Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with project planning and coordination, performing administrative tasks, booking events and providing analytical support and setting up the 'Men's Learning Circles' and be a central point of enquiry and delivery.

This position also involves effective communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure project and grant objectives are met.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Event Management - 6 small events (2 online, 2 Hybrid and 2 face to face) and support attendees with care and compassion. You will have a bit to do with the people.
  • Dealing with Stakeholders - a representative of the Foundation and an ambassador of community impact.
  • Skills in Project Support and Project Coordination
  • Social Media skills - keen to hear from people who have run online forums
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Experience in Administrative Assistance and 'follow through'
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Previous experience in a non-profit or social service environment is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is beneficial
