We are a family-owned business that has grown to be at the forefront of the manufacturing and supply of high-quality insulated panel systems. Our products include roof, wall, ceiling and patio systems, plus a wide range of accessories.

About the role

With our business continuing to develop and grow, Delta Panels is looking for a Receptionist to join our office team to assist with meeting demand. The right candidate will be the first point of contact for incoming calls, will handle customers and carry out various general administrative duties as required. The right candidate will need to adapt and learn the Delta Panel's product knowledge to effectively fulfil this role.

As Receptionist you will be part of a small team and some of your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them
  • Answer large volume of phone calls, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them within our message system
  • Accept deliveries and mail, organise them to be distributed to the correct recipients using the office mailing system and ensure they get to the recipient in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup
  • Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Inputting Outlook data
  • Handle filing and data entry as requested
  • Ensuring the conference room is clean and ready for guests
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Proven excellent communication skills - experience in customer service advantageous
  • High level of literacy and verbal skills
  • Superior writing and communications skills
  • Highly motivated and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Confident computer skills - comfortable with learning new software
  • Experience being a team player collaborating across departments
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow procedures and work well under direction
  • Well presentation
