A rare and career-defining opportunity is available for an experienced and commercially minded Venue Manager to lead the reopening and transformation of The Grand Hotel, a new landmark venue within the KPAT Hotels portfolio.

The Grand Hotel is preparing for a new era, one that combines heritage with contemporary hospitality. The renovation will include upgraded facilities, refreshed spaces, and a reimagined dining and entertainment offering. When complete, it will feature:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:You will need to showcase great talent and drive a service focused culture. You will be leading from the front and setting high standards, managing the venue from end to end, ensuring the smooth operation of all moving parts across the venue.

· Lead & coach a diverse team of people: Ensuring that team culture is guest focused, community led, and sales driven.

· Drive financial results: Be sales focused, create and lead the team to execute revenue initiatives.

· Showcase a passion for product: Support the team of chefs and guarantee you and your teams have a detailed knowledge of what The Rock offers.

· Drives gaming floor energy through warm hospitality, engaging promos, and a strong focus on responsible play.

· Establish a healthy working environment for the team: Enjoyable, educational, results focused and respectful.

· Maintain high standards of venue cleanliness: Always looking for ways to enhance guest experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:To really succeed in this role we are looking for experienced hospitality person that has:

• Experience managing a large and diverse team
• Experience working in a high-volume environment with bistro, gaming, TAB and functions
• Strong gaming and TAB experience
• Exceptional product knowledge and ability to drive consistency and excellence
• Business and operational acumen
• Skills to develop staff around product knowledge, service skills, team culture and guest relationships
• RSA and RSG certifications (essential)
• RMLV and Approved Manager credentials (essential)
• A true hospitality worker who is available on weekends and for late-night shifts
• A love for exceptional customer service
