As the Digital Associate (Entry Level) out of our Perth office  you will proactively support the senior team, taking responsibility for administration and implementation tasks within the team to ensure digital media campaigns run smoothly and to plan. You will build foundational knowledge and gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of media processes with a focus on the implementation of Digital Media channels.

What your typical day will look like

The Digital Associate role with Carat is a great place to start and forge a career in the media industry. Reporting to the Digital Manager and Digital Director from our Perth office, this role will enable you to build foundational knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Digital media planning, buying and reporting, and exposure to advertising best practices across a variety of digital media publishers (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Linked In, Spotify, Affiliates and other digital partnerships).

This includes

• Work collaboratively with internal and external teams, contributing to effective working relationships with our clients, agency partners and media owners
• Support the team in executing and optimising digital media campaigns so that we exceed targets for our clients
• Work with media and creative agencies on ensuring the timely delivery of creatives, and accurate material instructions. Trafficking digital media campaigns, ensuring tags are built and deployed to ensure the successful measurement of digital media.
• Assistance with document preparation including WIP's, post analysis, contact reports and timeline management, and finance.
• Provide support and guidance on campaign analysis and client engagements, relationships, presentations and reporting

A bit about you

• An interest and eagerness to learn and understand the digital media and advertising marketplace, across both brand and performance driving media activity.
• A demonstrated business acumen teamed with a knack for data and an ability to grasp numerical and mathematical concepts, as you will be working with data and extracting insights for reporting and identifying opportunities to optimise campaigns.
• A basic understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• You are tech savvy and a practical thinker, having a natural flair for problem solving.
• You are happy collaborating and working within a team environment with strong communication skills.
