Senior Psychologist

  • Based in our Brisbane CBD clinic + work from home opportunities
  • Part-time to full-time position, minimum 3 days per week (Monday to Friday only)
  • Salary range of $110-$120k (pro rata & dependent on experience) + Bonus structure + Super + up to $1750 CPD Allowance

We're seeking an engaging and warm Senior Psychologist to deliver a range of psychological services and support early career team members. With a casebook primarily providing short-term early intervention services and usually funded by employers or insurers, you get to make a meaningful impact at the right time to individuals who need it most In addition to clinical service delivery, you will mentor and develop early career mental health clinicians including placement students allowing you to build your leadership capability.

At Axis, you'll get to flex your clinical skills and connect meaningfully with people, without being stuck in back-to-back sessions with time dedicated for session preparation and administration. You'll be supported every step of the way by our Mental Health team including Psychology Leads, Board Approved Supervisors, and a team of Psychs with diverse specialties and endorsement areas.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver psychological therapy using evidence-based psychological approaches (such as CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing etc)
  • Facilitate recovery and self-efficacy by applying positive, client-centred therapeutic techniques
  • Providing informal supervision, case consultation, and professional development career mental health clinicians & placement students
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outcome-focused, professional, and quality care for Axis clients
  • Enhance Axis' reputation as a market leader of workplace health and wellbeing

You will bring the following:

  • At least 3 years' experience delivering 1 on 1 psychological interventions
  • Accredited tertiary Psychology qualification and general AHPRA registration
  • Passion for developing early career mental health clinicians & placement students, including an interest in undertaking board approved supervisor training in the future
  • Professional indemnity insurance
