Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. The Diesel Mechanic will work closely with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with diesel engines and vehicles
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Perform engine overhauls and rebuilds as needed
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
  • Communicate with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are maintained and repaired in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a diesel mechanic training program or equivalent work experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
