Purpose of the role:

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for embedding compliance-first thinking across our operations, driving automation and AI innovation, and ensuring our QA and Compliance team delivers at the highest level.

You'll sit at the heart of the business, managing compliance and regulatory risk, maintaining partner trust, and safeguarding the integrity of our sales processes. You'll lead a high-performing team split between Sydney (QA & Compliance Coach) and Manila (six QA Analysts).

What you'll do:

  • Lead the QA & Compliance function, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and retailer requirements (AER/ACCC).
  • Oversee post-sale reviews, QA scorecards, and calibration sessions with partners and internal teams.
  • Drive automation and AI initiatives to minimise manual processes and reduce compliance risk.
  • Serve as primary contact for compliance audits, partner queries, and operational risk event reviews.
  • Build and maintain compliance documentation, training modules, and knowledge bases.
  • Provide dashboards and reporting to leadership on compliance posture and QA outcomes.
  • Review and approve compliance-related policies, scripts, disclaimers, and customer communications.

About you:

You're regulator-savvy but commercially grounded, with a knack for balancing compliance obligations with business realities. You're an excellent communicator, comfortable leading calibration sessions, audits, and root cause analysis with confidence. You're also curious about automation and AI and can spot opportunities to innovate.

Must have:

  • 5+ years in quality assurance, compliance, or operational risk management
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (energy, telco, financial services, insurance)
  • Strong understanding of consumer protection obligations and risk frameworks
  • Leadership experience managing QA/compliance teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with automation or AI tools for QA/compliance
