Café Supervisor

As a Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, maintaining high service standards, and providing guidance and support to our team members

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cafe and restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent service and upholding our brand standards in interactions with guests.
- Oversee the dining area, ensuring tables are set up correctly, maintaining cleanliness, and managing table turnover efficiently.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control to ensure consistent high standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Manage cash handling and POS operations, including opening and closing cash registers, reconciling daily sales, and preparing reports as required.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies, ensuring stock availability while minimizing waste.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Continuously evaluate and improve service processes, suggesting and implementing innovative ideas to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Able to work well within a team of supervisors.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a cafe or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both customers and staff members.
- A customer-centric mindset, always striving to exceed guest expectations.
- Proven ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and industry trends.
