Company Description

Pacific Sleep is a specialist in home diagnostic and attended sleep testing, providing expert advice for those suffering from obstructive sleep apnoea. The clinic offers consultations with specialist sleep and respiratory physicians, along with support from clinical staff. We provide CPAP treatment trials to help patients adapt to CPAP therapy in their own time, and supply quality CPAP equipment for sale or rental, along with device parts and ongoing support. Additionally, we offer fixed or portable oxygen concentrators for patients prescribed oxygen by their doctors.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sleep & CPAP Clinician located in Hornsby, NSW. The Sleep & CPAP Clinician will be responsible for conducting sleep studies, providing advice on CPAP therapy, fitting and titrating CPAP masks, and supporting patients through their treatment journey. Daily activities include managing patient appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, offering troubleshooting assistance, and providing education on the use and care of CPAP equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting sleep studies and providing CPAP therapy
  • Strong patient interaction skills and experience in fitting and titrating CPAP masks
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting CPAP equipment and providing patient education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in a clinical setting
  • A background in healthcare or respiratory therapy is highly beneficial
  • Relevant certifications or a degree in a related field
