What's the Role?

  • Organising and overseeing the quarry site, with a focus on safety, environment and efficiency, to ensure:

    • The successful day to day operation of the quarry site.

    • Relevant training is undertaken.

    • Compliance with all site specific legislative requirements.

    • A positive work environment.

    • The highest standards of production, sales and compliance are maintained.

  • Developing and enacting the budget for your Area of Work.

  • Complying with policies, procedures and applicable legislation, including completing ongoing training, daily checklists and reporting requirements.

  • Maintaining personal, worksite and vehicle housekeeping policies and standards.

  • Actively communicating with your Manager/s and others in your AW.

  • Proactively undertaking all activities in a safe, diligent and efficient manner.

Site: Stawell Quarry

Location: Stawell, VIC 3380

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: minimum 40 hours/week with overtime as required.
- individual flexibility arrangements may be negotiated

Remuneration Package: A highly attractive package is on offer for the suitably qualified candidate.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Engineering qualifications or previous experience would be advantageous.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to make things happen.

  • High level of problem solving, analytical and planning skills.

  • Preferable to have experience with SAP and Citect control systems.

  • Honesty, integrity, fairness and a positive attitude.

  • High personal hygiene and presentation standards.

  • Proactive hands-on approach.
