Your New Role
Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, this position will support the Accountant and report directly to the Finance Manager.
The responsibilities will include accounts payable and receivable, payroll, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. As the Payroll and Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the broader financial operations of the organisation and will require a high level of accuracy and discretion. You'll be responsible for processing payroll for a varied employee base, assisting with the transition from Sybiz (Visipay) to MYOB.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Proven experience in a similar payroll and finance role, ideally within a complex or multi-faceted organisation.
Strong working knowledge of payroll systems, with experience in Sybiz (Visipay) and/or MYOB is highly regarded.
Solid understanding of general bookkeeping principles
Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
