Finance and Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Officer role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and supporting organizational finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Process fortnightly payroll and maintain precise employee data
- Manage payroll system updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes
- Conduct end-of-month payroll reporting and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Apply relevant legislation and regulations to payroll processes
- Liaise with HR, Finance, and external partners for seamless salary packaging
- Process invoices and client reimbursements through internal systems efficiently
- Maintain payroll policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory compliance
- High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
- Experience with payroll systems and software applications
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
