Payroll Officer Role Summary

The Payroll Officer role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll, maintaining employee records, and supporting organizational finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process fortnightly payroll and maintain precise employee data
  • Manage payroll system updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes
  • Conduct end-of-month payroll reporting and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Apply relevant legislation and regulations to payroll processes
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, and external partners for seamless salary packaging
  • Process invoices and client reimbursements through internal systems efficiently
  • Maintain payroll policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
Requirements and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory compliance
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
  • Experience with payroll systems and software applications
