We are currently seeking a Customer Service Executives to join our team in Sydney.

The Customer Service Executive (CSE) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end service for all customers within the Business Unit. The CSE will support the operations and Business Unit Manager to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Activities/Accountabilities

  • Support the Business Unit Manager in meeting and exceeding customer service
  • First escalation point for operations with service issues
  • Liaise with, and take instructions from our customers to co-ordinate their orders/shipments by the advised dates listed on the orders
  • Input of orders into EDI/ Cargowise
  • Liaise with shipping lines, overseas GFF offices and agents, freight forwarders, carriers, current clients and prospective clients
  • Proactively communicate any issues to customers within a timely manner, including corrective action
  • Procurement & rate maintenance
  • Timely and regular review of suppliers and rates
  • Scheduled visits and service calls to allocated clients where appropriate

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service within the freight forwarding industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience using CargoWise is essential
  • Time management and prioritising skills
