About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our team at Hensel Recycling Australia Pty Ltd in Carrum Downs, VIC. As a Factory Worker, you will play a crucial role in our recycling processes, contributing to the efficient and effective operation of our facility. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating various machines and equipment used in the recycling processes
  • Performing quality checks and inspections to ensure product standards and specifications are met
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of raw materials, parts, and finished products
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with team members to identify and implement process improvements
  • Completing all necessary documentation and record-keeping related to production activities

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the machine operations or recycling industries
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
  • Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and power tools
  • Forklift licence is preferred
