FMS Group is currently seeking Ancillary Diesel Fitters with Crane experience to fill positions at one of our mine sites situated in the highlands of Papua New Guinea.   

You will be working a roster of 21 days on, 14 days off. Day Shift Only.

Your Skills and Experience:

To be considered for the role, you must have the following:

  • Trade qualified, minimum +6 years' experience
  • Equipment Experience Preferred:
    • Franna, Humma, Tadano, Liebherr and Demag Cranes
    • Sullair, Airman Diesel Air Compressors
    • Sullair fixed Compressors
    • Manitou, CAT, Clark/Omega, Heli Forklifts
    • Haulotte/JLG EWPs and Scissor Lifts
    • Bulk Emulsion Vehicles
    • Palfinger Vehicle Loading Cranes
    • Miller Welders
    • Tilt Trays, Garbage Compactors & Vac Trucks
    • Orica Emulsion Production Plant
  • Ability to work in challenging conditions 
  • Willingness to mentor the national workforce to assist with further developing their skills 
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a multinational team environment
  • Understand cultural respect and awareness
  • A genuine commitment to safety
  • Australian and New Zealand citizens/residents will only be considered

Successful applicants must:

  • Hold a current Passport (with at least 12 months validity)
  • Be able to pass a medical examination (plus Drug & Alcohol Test) and an Australian Federal Police Clearance
