Business Services Support Officer - Intake/Triaging

We are currently seeking a compassionate and organised Intake/Triaging Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in assisting those in need. This is a full time role however part time applications will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the intake process for the organisation
  • Undertake Triaging appointments with Clients
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions.
  • Provide empathetic and supportive communication to individuals seeking assistance.

What You Would Bring To This Role:

  • Previous experience in a similar intake or triaging role preferred.
  • This role would suit a Counsellor in the making, who has recently completed, or nearing completion of a Diploma in Counselling.
  • Tenacity and resilience would be fantastic traits for you to have in your personal toolbox.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Empathy and compassion toward individuals dealing with trauma.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and database management.
  • Possession of a current, full Queensland Drivers License (C Class)
  • Willing to go through a Criminal History check
  • Possess a current Blue Card or ability to obtain
