Utilise your customer service skills to provide front-line customer service support at the Charles Darwin University (CDU) Sydney Campus
About the Position
As a Student Advisor, you will provide front-line customer service for the Sydney Campus, responding to enquiries from prospective and current students, their families, and the public. Your duties will include:
- Providing accurate course information and promote the University's vocational, higher education, and research programs to prospective students and their families.
- Assisting prospective students with application, admission, and enrolment processes to ensure new students make a successful start at the University
- Resolving enquiries at first point of contact using a knowledge base and liaising with staff as needed.
- Role model excellent customer service and contribute to a positive service culture across the University.
- Responding to a wide range of enquiries from contractors and visitors, offering directions, referrals, and solutions.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Completion of Year 12 and/ or Certificate IV in a nationally accredited Qualification or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education or training
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries in writing and liaise with other teams across the University on sometimes complex cases. High level verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex processes or regulations, to provide clear information to customers and to communicate effectively and constructively with staff.
- Experience working in a customer service team, ideally in the vocational or higher education sector, with a focus on teamwork and achieving shared goals.
- Proven commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated Knowledge of regulatory requirements in a dual-sector university customer service environment.
- Experience in contact center improvement initiatives.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 4/5. The base salary will be in the range of $67,800 to $84,914 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $79,326 to $99,349 per annum including 17% superannuation.
