The Role
At the French, our Student Advisors form part of the Student Recruitment and Admissions Team who inspire the next generation of Beauty Therapists to dream and become the creators of the Future of Beauty.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Student Advisor Assistant to join our team. This role will be suited to someone with a genuine interest and background in the beauty industry.
Our Student Advisor Assistant will manage inbound and outbound calls, providing students with personalised career advice, supporting them with their enrollment processes and helping them to feel motivated and confident about starting their journey in beauty. You will also conduct campus tours, support events and assist with activities that showcase The French Beauty Academy.
This role will operate from our Brisbane campus and will be working closely with teammates at our Gold Coast and Adelaide campuses too.
Skills and Experience
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude, with an enthusiasm for encouraging others to follow their dreams
- Experience in Customer Service, both face to face and over the phone
- A genuine interest in the beauty industry, education and personal development
- A motivated and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
- Confidence to build rapport with students and provide helpful guidance
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks and support team goals
- Comfortable using technology and open to learning new systems, including CRM platforms
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support different events and changing workloads
