Resident Engagement Officer

Do you have exceptional skills in connecting and fostering relationships with new and existing communities and developing and delivering on community-based projects? Homes North Community Housing is seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Resident Engagement Officer.
In this role, you'll be the vital link between Homes North and our tenants—helping to build strong, inclusive communities through meaningful engagement and advocacy. You will assist Homes North to improve the way services are delivered and managed while also helping support tenants to strengthen and develop their communities, create positive change in their housing environment, and develop skills and knowledge to improve their quality of life and wellbeing.
This position is 35 hours per week, based in Moree – with the requirement to travel to other regions.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Demonstrated experience in either: Social Housing, Welfare, Community Development and/or Tenant Participation
- Certificate IV in Social Housing, Community Development or Community services is desirable
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in a client-focused role
- Current Drivers License
