Contract Opportunity – Business Analyst, Finance Systems.

Drive transformation across finance systems for a leading organisation.

Our client is undertaking a business transformation and is seeking a Finance Systems Business Analyst to join on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a critical finance system implementation within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with finance and technology teams to gather and document business requirements.
  • Translate finance team needs into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Support the delivery of systems upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Map existing processes and identify areas for automation or efficiency gains.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
  • Assist with user training, go-live planning, and post-implementation support.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within finance systems projects.
  • Strong understanding of core finance functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle is essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a project-driven environment.
  • Previous experience in system upgrades or transformation projects is essential.
