Overview

AML Business Analysts (x2) – Legislative Change Program

Our Banking client is seeking x2 Business Analysts to work on a project they are currently setting up. You will be responsible for assessing rules/restrictions for regulatory purposes, as required. You will be involved in process mapping and documentation workstream for logistics associated with the project.

This is a hands-on delivery role, working closely with SMEs to help drive the program forward.

Responsibilities
  • Job Title: AML Business Analyst
  • Length: 3-month contract
  • Location: Sydney CBD - Hybrid role
  • Start: ASAP

What you'll do:

  • Work alongside Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) supporting the Stream Leads to progress business requirements linked to AML/Compliance reforms (AML Tranche 2).
  • Support the delivery of the change program, assessing business readiness and roadmap creation
  • Organise and facilitate stakeholder meetings, capture requirements, draft documentation, policies, and frameworks.
  • Contribute to business analysis, policy writing, and project/change activities.
  • Engage stakeholders to obtain and consolidate input and feedback.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in Banking or FS.
  • To be successful in the role, ideally, you will have 2-3 years of Business Analyst experience
  • Experience in end-to-end process mapping and documentation
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management
