The Team
Join a dynamic squad where innovation and customer focus fuel success. As a key player in the team, you'll be responsible for driving profitable growth across your category, crafting and executing strategies that deliver customer-centric, sustainable growth while surpassing sales and profit targets.
The Role
You'll be responsible for shaping the future of our category's and leading it to success. From crafting category strategies to driving growth, you'll work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure we're always ahead of the curve.
- Craft and Execute: Develop and deliver compelling category plans that address
evolving customer needs and ensure we stay ahead of market trends.
- Collaborate and Negotiate: Build and nurture long-lasting supplier partnerships, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements that drive value for both our customers and the business.
- Inspire and Lead: Lead your team with passion and energy, empowering them to create high-performing, customer-first solutions that resonate across all
areas of the business.
What's in your Toolkit?
- Proven Expertise: A strong track record in retail buying or category. You have demonstrated success in developing and managing high-performing categories.
- Customer Centric Mindset: You excel at translating customer insights into strategies that drive business growth and enhance the customer experience across all touchpoints
- Strategic Vision & Innovation: You are forward thinking and proactive in spotting market trends, anticipating customer preferences, and driving innovation to stay ahead of the competition.
- Strong Negotiation & Influencing Skills: Your ability to build and maintain impactful relationships with both internal and external suppliers is key to driving success.
- Financial Acumen: You understand how to manage budgets, optimize product offerings, and track sales performance to deliver profitability while keeping the customer at the centre.
