About The Role

We are looking for a client-focused individual who is a natural problem solver and proactive in their daily work. As an Associate Advisor, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of our driven and professional Financial Planning team. Your expertise and initiative will be highly valued as we strive to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Using your technical expertise, you will:

  • Take charge of implementing advice recommendations in an independent, diligent and timely manner

  • Be responsible for client and product provider queries

  • Prepare Records of Advice and other advice documents

  • Support and work closely with the Paraplanning team in preparing advice documents

  • Liaise with clients and product providers in a professional manner

  • Conduct comprehensive research on products and services

  • Work alongside advisors in preparing advice strategies

  • Support advisors in meeting ongoing service requirements

For the right candidate, this role can provide a pathway to Provisional Financial Advisor. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop, by working with experienced Advisors on a range of complex and diverse strategies and product ranges.

What we are looking for

  • Tertiary Degree in Business, Commerce, Diploma of Financial Planning or similar

  • Working towards or completion of your Masters of Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, or related qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years' industry experience in a client administration / paraplanning or associate advisor role

  • Have a strong technical understanding and background in financial advice processes and products

  • Understanding of compliance requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident professional manner

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent time and workflow management skills

  • Experience using XPLAN is highly regarded
